Who we are

Founded in 1939, Antelope Valley Desert Riders is the oldest equestrian club in Los Angeles County. AV Desert Riders provides families and youth with the facilities necessary to allow all types of equestrian events to take place. For 81 years, the club has been a leader in the Antelope Valley for equestrian events. AV Desert Riders promotes the competitive spirit in a close family environment.

AVDR hosts Gymkhana shows, held on the second Sunday of the month.

AVDR is located at 3223 West Avenue N-3, Palmdale, California 93551 - in the Antelope Valley


Heading south from Bakersfield / Tehachapi (Hwy 58) take 14 south. Off at Avenue N, then turn right. Left on 30th Street West and right on Avenue N-3.

From Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley (5 Fwy) take 14 north. Off at Avenue N, then turn left. Left on 30th Street West and right on Avenue N-3.
